As the Communications Manager for the Great Pacific Race, I played a pivotal role in facilitating effective team communications. I ensured that all participants and stakeholders were consistently informed and engaged through regular updates, briefings, and support, fostering a strong sense of community and collaboration.
My responsibilities included coordinating with teams to address their needs and concerns promptly, ensuring a smooth flow of information, and maintaining high morale among the competitors.
In addition to team communications, I spearheaded public relations efforts to elevate the race’s profile and attract media attention. I crafted compelling press releases, managed media inquiries, and orchestrated interviews to showcase the race’s unique challenges and inspiring stories.
My event management skills were crucial in planning and executing key aspects of the race, from pre-race briefings to post-race celebrations. Additionally, I led the marketing strategy, creating engaging content and campaigns that captivated our audience, drove participation, and amplified the race’s impact across various platforms.
